Davies signs extension with Fulham

08/17/2010 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Fulham midfielder Simon Davies signed a new contract that will keep him with the Premier League club through the 2012-13 season.

Davies, 30, joined Fulham in January of 2007 and has played in 129 matches for the club. He previously played at Peterborough United, Tottenham and Everton.

"It's great now that it's finally done. We've been talking for a few months," Davies said on Fulham's website. "I've loved my time here and it's been great the last few years. I'm just excited for the future and hopefully I'll finish my career here."

Davies, who played 58 times for Wales before ending his international career, helped Fulham reach the Europa League final last season.
